Are the ‘Mad Max’ movies on Netflix streaming?

Whether you like the movies or not you can’t deny that each Mad Max movie has been absolutely groundbreaking in one way or another. We enjoyed the amazing reboot of Mad Max last year, so we looked into Netflix to see which Mad Max movies were available on Netflix.

The focus in this movie series is all about gritty violence and to be truthful there’s little else out there like these movies. This 2015 remake has been one the most exciting movies of recent memory.

Let’s find out what Mad Max movies are available on Netflix.

Mad Max (1979).

The first Mad Max with Mel Gibson premiered just before the 70’s came to a close. George Miller directed all of the Mad Max films.

Netflix has the first Mad Max available in all regions.

Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior (1981).

In the first sequel to Mad Max we continue the series in Max’s continued quest to gain gasoline in a post apocalyptic Australian Outback.

The second Mad Max movie is only available on Netflix in Japan.

Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome (1985).

Beyond Thunderdome was the final Mel Gibson movie. This movie was a huge success and Mel Gibson's performance cemented his role in the film.

The third Mad Max movie is available on Netflix in Northern European regions only including Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden.

Max Max: Fury Road (2015)

Last year's Mad Max was a great movie. The film stars Tom Hardy, who tries to rescue a group female prisoners fleeing from an oppressive outback leader.

Mad Max Fury Road is only available on Netflix DVD at the moment however it’s likely that regions such as Canada, Central America or European regions will get them in the future. It’s unlikely to come to Netflix US streaming however because of contracts already in place with other providers.
