Close Enough, which has been advertised by Netflix as an original series in the United States, will return for its second season via Netflix late May 2021. This is two months after it premiered on HBO Max.
We first heard that Netflix would soon be expanding to international territories in September 2020. Now, just months after the season 2 finale on HBO Max, we are able to announce that Netflix will launch the next season on May 26th 2021.
J.G. Quintel created the animated series for adults. It follows a couple who try to keep up with the times as they transition from their 20s into the 30s.
Unogs reports that Netflix US is available in at least 30 countries, including Australia, Brazil, Argentina and Mexico.
Despite some concerns that Netflix was only getting the series temporarily and that Warner Media would hold back the rights to future seasons, that doesn’t look to be the case. Netflix has traditionally acquired licensing rights for shows over the course of the series plus several years.

Nope. HBO Max is the only streaming service to carry it so if you want to watch Close Enough, you’ll need a HBO Max subscription.
Don’t worry about the future of the series either as it’s already been confirmed that season 3 is a go. WarnerMedia has confirmed that season 3 and 4, as well as seasons 3, have been commissioned, meaning there will be many more. It is not yet known if all these will be available on Netflix, but it is expected.
