Cobra Kai, an American Martial-Arts drama, was created by Josh Heald and Jon Hurwitz. Hayden Schlossberg. The series is a continuation of The Karate Kid movies and takes place 34 years after the events of the original Karate Kid.
We learned in October 2020 that the third season of Cobra Kai will be available on Netflix starting January 8, 2021. This date is currently the headline of the January 2021 schedule. However, this date was removed from promotional materials at the end November, and much of December.
As we suggested in a piece from a couple of weeks ago detailing the fact Cobra Kai may be moving, that’s now come to fruition.
Netflix declared on December 24, that the service had been removed for January 1.
Originally, the expectation was that Cobra Kai season 3 would be coming to Netflix “by the end of Summer” 2020 after the series co-creator, Jon Hurwitz, was asked the question in a Q&A on Twitter.
Netflix then released an updated trailer for season 1 and 2, which was when the first two seasons were added to Netflix. The end of the video confirmed that Cobra Kai's third season would not be available until 2021.

Beware: There are spoilers.
Let’s quickly catch up with the main events of the finale of season 2 which will lead us to speculate and report on what we know about season three.
Let’s now break down what we do know about the story in season three.
It’s been confirmed we’re headed to Okinawa in the new season. Also, we believe Robby with Daniel LaRusso will also be heading to Okinawa (although season 3 screens show Robby ends up in prison).
Chozen Toguchi, who first appeared in Karate Kid 2, was also teased in an early trailer.
A new teaser for Cobra Kai's third season was unveiled on October 1, 2020. The trailer is a short 14-second clip that shows a heart monitor merging into one beep, signifying the death of the person or thing. Although we know Miguel is currently fighting for his life, we believe this teaser actually refers to Cobra Kai, at least Johnny’s vision for it, is dead.
The season 3 will not begin immediately after the end of season 2. Instead, it will be quite some time later. William Zabka stated that the series resumes after significant amounts of time.
These are just a few of the details that were revealed so far about season 3.
Netflix published a number of photos from the new season on December 7, 2017. They’re quite revealing so if you want to go into Cobra Kai season 3 cold, we’d suggest skipping this section.

Reviewers are still restricted from viewing the show, although most media have access to its third season. The series will be released on December 28, 2020 at 12:01 PST.
