Netflix's Original David Attenborough Docuseries, Our Planet in 2019, was a huge success. Netflix will soon release Life in Color in April 2021, which is a collaboration between Netflix and BBC.
Life in Colour won't be focusing solely on climate change and its impact on fragile ecosystems, but will focus instead on animal interaction with color and the crucial role that it plays. The new camera technology that has been developed specifically for Life in Colour is sure to make it one of the most captivating and stunning docuseries ever.
Since long time, we knew that Life in Color would soon be available on Netflix in 2021. We can now confirm, thanks to the trailer for Life in Color, that it will be available on Netflix Thursday, April 22nd 2021.
What are the Production Teams Behind Life in Color
Humble Bee Films will produce Life in Color. Sealight Pictures, an Australian production company, has confirmed that it will co-produce the series. The studio will produce episodes that are primarily focused on aquatic life.
Silverback Films was the production company behind the Netflix Original, Our Planet. Based on the information that we know so far, Silverback Films won't be involved in the production of Life in Color.

Life in Color won't be streamable on Netflix in some regions, which will disappoint many subscribers.
Life in Color, originally broadcast on BBC One in the UK, was now available on BBC iPlayer.
Australia’s Channel 9 has also been confirmed to be working with Netflix and the BBC on the production of Life in Color. At the time of writing it’s not clear if the series will be broadcast on Channel 9 or if it’s coming to Netflix Australia.
Life in Color, which is available in all regions of the world, should become a Netflix Original.
