DC’s ‘Titans’ Season 3 Coming to Netflix Internationally in December 2021

Titans Season 3 is now available on Netflix internationally. It will release in December 2021. Unfortunately, Titans isn't available on Netflix US.

Teen Titans was the inspiration for this superhero series that premiered back in October 2018. It returned to TV in 2021, and is expected to return in 2022.

The show was moved to HBO Max in the USA for the third season. However, Netflix retains the rights outside of the United States and markets it as a Netflix Original.

Some DC Universe shows (now HBO Max), have strange international distributions. Titans sold to Netflix. Doom Patrol, however was licensed to Amazon Prime. The same is true for some shows on The CW DC.

Season 3 premiered on August 12, and ended on October 21st.

What date will Titans go international on Netflix?

Netflix doesn’t receive weekly drops of Titans like it does for some other DC shows and instead has to wait a few months after wrapping.

We originally predicted that Netflix would release Titans Season 3 internationally sometime in Q3-Q4 2021.

It was confirmed by Netflix that Titans Season 3 will air on international Netflix regions starting December 8, 2021.

We have already stated that all regions will receive Titans Season 3 regardless of whether HBO Max is launched in Spain, Latin America, or the Nordics.

Are Titans leaving Netflix?

Titans has been rumored to be departing Netflix internationally as HBO Max slowly rolls out around the world (although in most cases it won’t be for at least five years based on existing deals).

We haven’t heard any official from either WarnerMedia or Netflix but we have heard rumors at least that Netflix only picked up a number of seasons and that it could depart when HBO Max rolls out. Close Enough, which Netflix has recently acquired internationally, is still rumored to be the same.

For many, it’ll likely be a positive thing when HBO Max does eventually release outside the US given a lot of their licenses are spread across multiple providers.

Are the Titans season 1-3 available on Netflix USA?

It is almost impossible to rule out the possibility that it will be available on Netflix in the United States.

The first two seasons of DC Universe were filmed at DC Universe. However, the show was moved to HBO Max on November 1, 2020. DC Universe had been retired.
