Charley Parlapanides and Vlas Parlapanides created Blood of Zeus, an original anime series for Netflix. Powerhouse Animation Studios is producing the series, which is inspired by Ancient Greek mythology. This is the same studio that produced Castlevania Original. The original title of the series was Gods & Heroes at the time it was announced. However, the title was changed to reflect the main theme.

How does Blood of Zeus play out?

In the world’s beginning the Gods of Olympus, lead by Zeus, defeated the Titans. The last Titan, who had cursed Gods and launched the Giants upon the earth, was the one to win the victory. A century later, an East army uses the power of the fallen giants to attack Greece. A commoner named Heron discovers his history as the son Zeus and the destiny he has to save the planet from the East on the outskirts Greece.
