Guillermo del Toro’s Horror Anthology Series ‘Cabinet of Curiosities’: What We Know So Far

The series was originally titled Guillermo del Toro Presents 10 After Midnight. However, it has been shortened to Cabinet of Curiosities. Filming for the series was completed in February 2022 after several months. The series features an outstanding number of incredible actors and actresses across its eight episodes. Cabinet of Curiosities, a new Netflix Original Horror Anthology Series created by Guillermo del Toro is coming soon. J. Miles Dale, the producer of del Toro’s academy award-winning The Shape of Water will work on the Original as an executive producer, alongside Gary Ungar.

Hellboy's director is not unfamiliar to Netflix. He has been working on Tales of Arcadia for several years, and this year he will be releasing Trollhunters: Rise of Titans. The highly-anticipated stop motion musical version of Pinocchio's story will also be released this year.

Who are the Cabinet of Curiosities cast members?

Cabinet of Curiosities was first announced in September 2005. At the time only Essie Davis (and Luke Roberts) were confirmed. Since then, the majority of cast members have been confirmed.

Guillermo del Toro Presents 10 After Midnight's first episode features Essie Davis, an actress who plays the part of a mom that has lost her child. The character has been described as “distant and distracted.” Davis is known for her work on The White Princess, Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries and the movie adaptation of the video game Assassin’s Creed.

Luke Roberts is the second actor confirmed. Game of Thrones lovers will recognize him as Ser Arthur Dayne. Roberts also appeared in Ransom and Black Sails, as well as the BBC's Wolf Hall. Guillermo del Toro Presents 10 After Midnight Roberts plays the role of Joe Allen. Joe Allen is a well-known and loved miner.
