‘Hannah Montana’ isn’t coming to Netflix in November

Rumours are circulating on the internet that Hannah Montana will not be coming to Netflix in November, despite them being rumoured. The announced releases for November for almost every country didn’t include Hannah Montana.

With a run of 4 seasons between 2006-2011, the Disney Channel series is now off air. Because of its global superstar, the series is still popular. Hannah Montana is about a girl who lives two lives. The one as a superstar, the other as an ordinary girl hiding her true identity.

This rumour appears to have originated on Twitter, with a tweet that's been liked more than 100,000 times since it was posted. The tweet states that Hannah Montana will be coming to Netflix. It doesn't cite a source nor if it concerns the series or movie.

It’s not the only rumour that Netflix is tied up at the moment. Several outlets reported last week that Netflix would be getting all of Harry Potter's movies. Sadly, that’s not the case as Netflix is only getting the movies but for those in France and Belgium. With this rumour, however, it’s not actually based on anything.

The series actually doesn’t have a streaming home as of the time of writing. This means that you cannot watch the series via video-on demand services. Decider agrees, stating that this series will likely end up on Disney's streaming service.

What movie is coming?

At the moment, it doesn’t look as though the movie is coming to Netflix again anytime soon either. Netflix had the movie in 2017 and then lost it in September.

Shortly after, the movie was transferred to Hulu and can still be streamed there in America to this day.

Netflix has many Disney films on its way, with more theatrical releases to follow such as Wreck-It Ralph 2, The Incredibles 2 or Mary Poppin Returns.
