It’s heartbreak in January 2022 as all nine seasons of How I Met Your Mother will be leaving multiple Netflix regions on New Year’s Day.
How I Met Your Mother aired its first episode on CBS in September 2005. It ran for nine seasons and ended in March 2014. Although the final episode was controversial, How I Met Your Mother is still a close rival to Friends.
Ted Mosby is a middle-aged man who tells his kids the story of how he fell in love with and lost his twentysomething male companion on his way to finding his mother.
On January 1, 2022, all nine seasons of How I Met Your Mother will end on Netflix.
The American sitcom will soon be withdrawn from 21 countries;

It all boils down to licensing. Since December 3, 2015, How I Met Your Mother is available for streaming in countries like Netflix UK. This means Netflix’s long licensing of almost six years is now coming to an end.
We can’t say for the non-English speaking countries where you can stream How I Met Your Mother afterlife on Netflix, however, in the United Kingdom all nine seasons of the sitcom are already available on Disney+.
