The sequel to the 2015 adaptation of the best-selling book by E.L. James, has hit the big screens on the 2nd of February. The book sold 125 million copies worldwide and has been converted into 52 different languages.
The first film in the series introduced Dakota Johnson as Anastasia Steele and Jamie Dornan as Christian Grey and is a story of Anastasia. Anastasia is a literature student who does a favor for her roommate Kate by performing an interview with the wealthy Christian Grey.
After Grey starts to show an interest in her she realizes she also wants him, and to get close to him. But he will only be with her if you agrees to do it on his terms, and she discovers about his very specific and singular needs and desire to control everything in his life.
The second film in the series is titled ‘Fifty Shades Darker’ and has just de`buted in the cinema. Even the trailer shows that the plot is more complex and developed than the original.
But currently the first film is unfortunately not available to stream on Netflix at this moment, but Amazon Instant did obtain the film a few months ago, so that would probably be your best bet for online streaming. Elsewhere, though, it’s available to stream on Netflix in Spain and Portugal, but that’s it.
The title is available to rent on Netflix DVD, so if you did have an account, you will be fortunate enough to watch this popular title.
