‘It’s turbo time!”. Jingle All the Way is an underappreciated Christmas classic from the mid-’90s. This Christmas comedy classic from the mid-'90s is worth a watch. There’s only one problem, is Jingle All the Way available to stream on Netflix this Christmas!?
Family-Comedy Jingle All the Way was first released in November 1996. The film was produced by Chris Columbus, Director of Home Alone. The film was produced by 1492 Pictures, who used the same production studio. Starring larger than life action-star Arnold Schwarzenegger and stand up-comedian Sinbad, the film is a satirical take on the commercialization of Christmas.
Howard Langston, a mattress seller who is obsessed with work, often neglects his children. Although he loves his children, he can't help but be a father to them. After missing his son Jamie’s Karate graduation class, Howard wants to make up for it in the best way possible for Christmas. Howard tries to redeem himself by buying Jamie the Turbo-Man action figure, the most in-demand toy of the year. Howard is forced to take on Myron Larabee, his rival father, in order to purchase a Turbo-Man doll as a Christmas gift for his son.
Netflix US has unfortunately removed Jingle All the Way. Not only is it not on Netflix it’s pretty hard to find anywhere to stream it legally as well. It can be rented and purchased from YouTube, Google Play, and Amazon Prime.
UK fans will be also disappointed to learn that the film is not available on Netflix UK. At the time this article was written, the film was also not available on Sky Go or NowTV.
