Is Season 1 of ‘Euphoria’ on Netflix?

Netflix had been hard at work creating great titles like Stranger Things, Orange Is the New Black and other excellent series, but HBO was busy releasing the hit show Euphoria. This teen drama quickly became a hot topic on social media, and it has been viewed millions of times. Is Euphoria streaming on Netflix? Sadly not and it’s not likely the popular teen drama will be arriving anytime soon. But for anyone wishing to stream the series we’re on hand to tell you exactly where to find Euphoria online.

Euphoria, an American drama for teens created by Sam Levinson, is based in part on Ron Lesham's Israeli miniseries. Drake, a Canadian rapper, is listed as executive producer of the series.

Zendaya also stars in Euphoria's narration. Also in the series are Maude Apatow, Hunter Schafer and Sydney Sweeney.

Euphoria was a summer series that became a huge hit. However, it has been subject to a lot of controversy. Despite being acknowledged as a “teen drama” the series has been criticized by parents for the excessive amounts of drug use, sexual content, and violence. The controversy attracted millions of viewers.

How does Euphoria work?

Teenagers who are trying to make it through high school can find life difficult. Rue Bennett is a 17-year-old recovering drug addict, struggling to find her place in the world, but when she meets Jules, a transgender girl, it’s not long before they become friends. Other students in Rue’s school struggle to find their own place in the world as they deal with issues around sexuality, body insecurities, and drugs.

What is the first episode of Euphoria on Netflix US?

Unless you have a subscription to HBO you won’t be able to watch Euphoria in the US.

The series is unavailable on Netflix and is only available to stream on HBO’s streaming services HBO Now or HBO GO. You will pay $14.99 per month for HBO Now (first month is free).

For as long as HBO licenses Euphoria, it won’t be on Netflix anytime soon.

Do other countries have Euphoria streaming on Netflix?

Unfortunately, Netflix is not available in all regions. However, we know of some locations that you might be able to stream the series.

The United Kingdom has HBO and Sky in an ongoing agreement to distribute HBO content via Sky Atlantic. If you’re a customer of Sky you can use your Sky I.D. To stream Euphoria, log in to Sky Go Non-Sky customers will require a subscription for Now TV in order to stream Euphoria. You can stream all eight episodes on Now TV.
