Last Chance U, an Emmy award-winning documentary series is returning to Netflix. Last Chance U's crew will not be following junior college football teams. Instead, they will follow the East Los Angeles College Huskies basketball team. Below is all we know so far about the docuseries, which will premiere on Netflix March 20, 2021.
Last Chance U: Basketball will be a new Netflix Original sport-docuseries. It is a spin-off from the award-winning docuseries Last Chane U. Boardwalk Pictures produces the series, with Joe LaBracio and Lucas Smith serving as executive producers.
We now know Last Chance U: Baseketball will be premiering on Netflix, thanks to the official teaser. You can stream the docuseries on Netflix worldwide.
The series will have eight episodes, it has been confirmed. The episodes will run approximately 55 minutes each.
All of the East Los Angeles College Huskies' first season will be about their quest to win a California State Championship. John Mosley is the head coach and tries his best to get the most out of the talented young team. Team members include many D1 players and athletes who are talented and want to showcase their college potential.

Are we likely to see Last Chance U more often?
Last Chance U aired five seasons and featured three colleges with their respective football teams. The series was cancelled after the completion of five seasons. Netflix confirmed this in a tweet.
