Netflix will become the only streaming site for Manifest as soon as the removal notices on Hulu and Peacock start to appear.
It’s been a busy few months for Manifest fans. A shock cancellation by NBC caused a series of events that eventually lead to Netflix's acquisition. The show was cancelled in season 3.
Several details regarding the status of the show's streaming were also included in the announcement. For example, we know that the first three seasons will be available on Netflix in the United States and Canada later this year.
Peacock has continued to host the show on Hulu and Hulu, which have essentially been catch-up channels for Manifest up to date. Season 3 is likely to depart Hulu and Peacock earlier than expected. It will leave both Hulu, as well as Peacock in September 2021.
Season 3 of Manifest On Peacock is available to watch until September 20, 2021, and season 3 on Hulu until September 21, 2021.
These expiry notices can be seen on screen shots of Hulu and Peacock apps (h/t @LetterkennyFD for sharing these).
This shouldn’t come as a huge surprise or a great loss (unless you don’t have a Netflix subscription of course!) given that Netflix is home to all three seasons but this news does mean that it’ll now be the exclusive streaming home to all three seasons.
Other streaming services have begun to show removal dates, although they are not as fast as Hulu or Peacock. We reported in the UK that NowTV (and Sky) are planning to remove the series on November 7, 2021. Whether this is when seasons 1-3 come to Netflix internationally isn’t known. It is possible that there could be overlap, as we witnessed in the US.
Do you watch Manifest on Peacock? Or Hulu, and are you missing out? We'd love to hear from you in the comments.
