Netflix UK subscribers will be treated to an exciting month of anime, February. One of the best titles is My Hero Academia - Two Heroes. Fans in the UK have the opportunity to finally watch one of the most requested anime films, My Hero Academia: Two Heroes.
My Hero Academia: Two Heroes is a superhero anime feature film based on the popular manga series My Hero Academia by author Kōhei Horikoshi. The film is the first of the franchise’s history and had relative financial success at the box office, making $27 million worldwide on a limited theatrical release.
An old friend invites All Might, the most heroic hero of all time, to I-Island. I-Island, a city created by man that is technologically amazing, houses the most brilliant minds around the globe who research Quirks. Taking Deku with him, the young aspiring hero runs into his classmates but it isn’t long before they are called to action when a villain takes the entire island hostage.
My Hero Academia 2 Heroes, just like the Naruto and Studio Ghibli movies, will debut on Netflix UK starting February 1, 2020.
Netflix has received most anime titles with an English Dub. We’re certain the English Dub by FUNimation will be the audio available for subscribers to listen too. The film can be streamed in Japanese, with English subtitles, for those who like Sub.
My Hero Academia - Two Heroes runs for 96 minutes.
It is believed that the film will take place in the middle of the third and fourth seasons of the anime series. The manga creator confirmed this connection.
All Might’s back story is explored in the film, which ties in with the story of the manga. Even though the film is not mentioned in the series, the event still qualifies as canon.
Sadly, the My Hero Academia anime series still won’t be available to stream on Netflix UK.
You will need to subscribe to Crunchyroll and FUNimation in order watch all of the previous episodes.
Crunchyroll allows you to access the most recent episodes in Japanese. FUNimation provides an English Dub and voice-acting veteran Christopher Sabat, as All Might.
Hulu allows you to watch My Hero Academia: Two Heroes, but this requires a subscription.
The second verse is the same as the original. To watch My Hero Academia live in the USA, you will need to subscribe to FUNimation and Crunchyroll.
As of the writing date, only four countries are streaming My Hero Academia : Two Heroes via Netflix.
