It looks like we’re finally getting the release of the Rocko’s Modern Life movie on Netflix. Netflix will release the Nickelodeon movie earlier this year on the 9th of August 2019.
Both the Invader zim film and the Invader Zim movie were also picked up earlier this year by Netflix. Nickelodeon failed to show the film despite the fact that it had been completed for many years. In fact, by the time it releases on Netflix, it’ll have been roughly three years since we first learned about the series.
This movie was based upon the original series that ran in the 1990s. It is part of Nickelodeon's attempt to revive some of its older properties.
Here’s what you can expect from Rocko’s Modern Life: Static Cling:
After being in space for many years, Rocko and his friends attempt to adjust to an even more modern life.
Up until recently, the only release window we’ve had is that the show would arrive sometime in the summer.
Charlie Adler has confirmed that the movie will be released on August 9, 2019. Adler will voice a variety of characters including Mr. Dupette and Grandpa Wolfe, as well as Ed Bighead and Bev Bighead.
IMDb was also updated to reflect Netflix's new release date.
Netflix themselves have yet to update the movies official page with the release date but we’re expecting the full list of August releases in the next week or so. All the August Netflix Original movies that we know of can be found here.
Numerous Nickelodeon projects, including Invader Zim and the Invader Zim movies are either still in development or scheduled to release on Netflix. The expected last season of Pinky Malinky will be aired on Netflix in July 2019.
