Neal Wu is the director of Triad Princess, a new Netflix Original Taiwanese drama series. Despite there being plenty of other Mandarin titles with the Original status, this is only the second Mandarin (and Taiwanese) series that can be counted as a “full” Netflix Original. The two Mandarin Originals that Netflix has released are set in Taiwan. Nowhere Man was the first.

KFTV reports that Triad Princess was produced in Taipei and Kaohsiung, Taiwan.

As to when filming took place hasn’t been confirmed. The series entered pre-production the 10th July. It can be assumed filming started in the last few months and is likely still ongoing as of this writing.

How long does each episode last?

This information has been withheld, but we’re speculating each episode will have a run time of around sixty to seventy minutes.
