Will The Batman Get A Sequel? Here Are Robert Pattinson’s Thoughts

The long wait was worth it. Fans will soon be able enjoy Matt Reeves’ The Batman. This cinematic interpretation of the Caped Crusader by Reeves is unlike any other. Most people seem pleased with the content so far. Some may be asking if there's a sequel. It looks as though this is a movie series, with Robert Pattinson being a familiar face when it comes to franchises. Reeves' film . may be a sequel, according to the actor.

British actor Edward Cullen played the role of vampire Edward Cullen during the Twilight movie franchise. Robert Pattinson, with Stephanie Meyer's original books, was able develop his character through five films. Pattinson has a cerebral approach to choosing roles and how they are prepared. He already knows the places he wants to take his Batman-style Batman.

Over two movies, I created a sort of map showing where Bruce's personality would develop. This is something I'd love to do.

However, it is interesting that the franchise will be continued on the small screen even if the film doesn't come out. HBO Max is developing two TV series within the same continuity. The first will take place one year ahead of the movie's events. It will examine corruption in the Gotham City Police Department. Oswald Cobblepot will play Colin Farrell in this series. The story will focus on his rise to the top of the criminal underworld. Farrell will be an executive producer and star of the show.

Although viewers are sure to get their fix regardless of which way it goes, one cannot deny the appeal of yet another major-screen movie, particularly when there is so much territory that can be covered. The upcoming film will include crucial elements and characters like the smooth-looking Selena Kyle, played by Zoë Kravitz, and Paul Dano's creepy Riddler. It is possible to imagine Two-Face, or even the Joker being in this film. As a matter of fact, reports and rumors have suggested that Eternals alum Barry Keoghan has shot a special cameo for the movie – and "maybe, maybe not" be playing the Clown Prince of Crime.

Matt Reeves shows that he is an intelligent storyteller. He carefully places pieces together for movies such as Let Me In and franchises like Planet of the Apes. At the minimum, I believe he has considered where his Kurt Cobain-inspired Bruce Wayne would like to go in the future. If they're able, Pattinson and he will likely work together to make a thrilling journey for one world's most beloved superheroes.

Before we dive into any sequel-related talk, please make sure you all go see The Batman on March 4, 2022 exclusively at theaters.
