Trolls: The Beat Goes On is now available! Season 6 will be released on April 9, 2019, worldwide, via Netflix.

Dreamworks and Netflix are continuing to produce solid content for 2019, with Voltron and Captain Underpants getting updates, with more planned throughout 2019.

Trolls the Beat Continues! It is inspired by toys with the same name, but it is more closely related to the 2016 movie. Netflix commissions a companion series, just like Dreamworks films.

Trolls has been renewed as often and quickly as other Dreamworks shows on Netflix. The fifth season, which consists of six episodes, was released in January 2019. Here’s the release schedule so far:

Season Netflix Release Date
1 January 19, 2018
2 March 9, 2018
3 August 24, 2018
4 November 2, 2018
5 January 18, 2019

Netflix will release the sixth season on April 9, 2019, with approximately the same number of episodes than the first season. It is an original series that will be available in every country.

Is there a 7th season of Trolls: The Beat Continues!

Between seasons 6 and 9, all Dreamworks series begin to decline. The longest series we’ve had so far was Voltron which ran for eight seasons but quite often most don’t reach that.

Trolls has a large following which could mean further episodes are produced and when the series was originally announced, we didn’t get an episode count like some other Dreamworks shows.

The reality is we probably won’t know whether season 6 will be the last until several months down the line when season 7 would’ve launched on the existing timeline.

"Trolls the Beat Continues!" Another Dreamworks series will be available in April. The eighth season of Spirit Riding Free (an animated series based on the 2002 film) will also arrive in April.

Do you want to sing and dance with the Trolls more often? Leave a comment below. Also, don’t forget, the next Trolls movie that’s due out next year will also likely come to Netflix but we’ll have more on that closer to the time.
