Weeds will be ending Netflix's service in 2021. This is confirmation we have been waiting for. Next, where will Weeds be streamed? Let’s take a look.
Netflix has streamed the series for over 10 years. New seasons have been added to the service almost every day since the launch of Netflix in the US.
In March 2013, the final season of season eight was added to Netflix US.

Netflix will remove all eight seasons on April 1, 2021.
Weeds is already gone from Netflix in most regions, with season one to eight leaving key Netflix countries such as Australia, Canada, and the United Kingdom on December 31, 2019 (or January 1, 2020, depending on where you are located).
We were warned in May 2020 that Weeds was soon to leave. Lionsgate TV Chairman said the licensing for Weeds is approximately a year away.
That’s still yet to be determined from our research. According to 2019 reports, the show will get a sequel. We could also see it exclusively on Starz.
This could be a follow-up to Mad Men, which was eventually shared by AMC and IMDbTV.
Given CBS’s involvement as the distributor, however, it could be earmarked for Paramount+. We’ll provide an update as and when we get it.
If you’re going to miss Weeds on Netflix we have a number of suggestions on what to watch next.
These suggestions also include the Jenji Kohan shows Orange is the New Black and Teenage Bounty Hunters, which were sadly cancelled after just one season.

Netflix also has shows that are based on this plant, including Disjointed (a short-lived French series), Family Business (an excellent French series), and Cooking on High, a reality show.
