When is ‘Legend Quest’ Season 2 on Netflix?

Legend Quest season 2 will soon be available on Netflix, but it has taken a while. The first-ever animated show from South America for children got a second season and we’ve been following the development. Here’s the latest on Legend Quest season 2

Legend Quest's first season dropped on Netflix in February 2017, in case you didn't see it. This Mexican animated series was the first to be released on Netflix. It is set in 19th Century America, where a young boy and his friends defend the world from supernatural threats.

Season 1 - 13 Episodes released. A special birthday episode was added to Netflix in September 2017.

Legend Quest Season 2 is it happening?

Absolutely. Netflix announced the renewal of Season 2 sneakily in October 2017 Since season 2, the animators and writers have been working hard. With that said, because of the radio silence, you’d be forgiven to think that the series has been canceled. That’s certainly not the case.

Matt Fowler, who’s working on another Netflix project announced back in September that he’s going to be voice acting a new titan called Michael Donovan.

The last and likely final update of the Legend Quest season 2 development came on May 6th, 2019 when the team were working on the final edge of “Legend Quest 2”.

Why is it taking so long?

With kids series, we’ve been spoilt when it comes to fast releases. Dreamworks TV studios have managed to put out season after season in quick succession but they’re a big studio. Netflix hires smaller animation studios, which means there are longer waiting times between seasons.
