When will ‘After We Collided’ be on Netflix?

After We Collided, the sequel to After was released on Netflix in December 2018. But will After We Collided do the same? It looks like a few regions will be getting it in December 2020 but not as many as the previous title Here’s what we know so far.

Teens love the adaptations of book series, even though they are often criticized by critics as well as audiences.

Roger Kumble directs this new film, which stars Josephine Langford and Hero Fiennes Tiffin. It also adapts Louise Lombard's 2014 romance novel.

In most countries, the movie was released theatrically in 2020. However, in the United States its theatrical release date was moved to 2020 October 23rd. The film will also be available on demand digitally and in theatres.

Voltage Pictures also works with Netflix in some other areas. Netflix picked up global rights to Extremely Wicked and Shockingly Evil last year, but not the UK.

After We Collided will be available on Netflix USA

Originally we didn’t expect to see After We Collided to hit Netflix The reason for that was the difference between this movie and After is that it’s distributed by a different company making its US Netflix release date hard to predict because we can’t at this point even assume it will hit Netflix.

Aviron Pictures distributed the first movie worldwide, while Voltage Pictures distributes the second movie in America. We weren’t able to find any press regarding an output deal with their content but we did go through some of their recent movies.

We were informed by the Netflix official account in November 2020 that the film would also be available on Netflix USA's December 22nd 2020.

How about Netflix's international locations?

We don’t know the release date schedule for every country in the world however we do know when it will be releasing in some.

The movie distribution is different from the original movie. Open Road Films distributes the movie worldwide, with Shear Entertainment in the UK being the exception. In September 2020, the movie was released in international cinemas.

Deadline announced that Not all Netflix Regions will receive After We Collided on November 25, 2020. Netflix UK, France and Spain are not eligible. They’ll be streaming on Amazon Prime in those regions from December 22nd with the exception of Spain where it’ll release on January 1st, 2021.

In November 2020, multiple Asian countries including India, Malaysia and the Philippines began to show a release date. These regions will all see After We Collided on the 1st of December 2020.
