When will ‘Dirty John’ Season 2 be on Netflix?

Dirty John's season 1 has been added to Netflix worldwide. But when will Dirty John's season 2 be available on Netflix? Entitled The Betty Broderick Story, here’s what it will be about and most importantly when you will be streaming Dirty John season 2 on Netflix.

Before we take a look at season two, let’s quickly look at season 1 and how it released on Netflix. Netflix picked up all of the first season in international territories around one month after it ended on January 13, 2019. All episodes were made accessible (along with an extra documentary) by Netflix on February 14, 2019.

Netflix USA finally launched Season 1 of Dirty John in November 2019. It was specifically available on November 25, 2019. Netflix USA has not yet received Dirty John: the Dirty Truth documentary special.

This season portrayed the real story of John Meehan's love for a single mom and an interior designer.

It’s important to note that Dirty John is effectively now an anthology series, meaning we won’t be revisiting the story from season 1. Here’s what you can expect from season two:

In Season two, it is the story of convicted murderer Betty Broderick (Peet) and her ex-husband (Slater) that spans the 1960s to the ’80s and chronicles the breakdown of their marriage that Oprah deemed one of “America’s messiest divorces” even before it ended in double homicide.

In April 2020, the first trailer of season 2 was made public.

USA Network will be the first premier network to air the series on June 2.

Is Dirty John 2 coming to Netflix worldwide?

This question can be answered thankfully with a yes. Deadline revealed that Netflix was still a producer for the series, and thus, holds the rights to the series' second edition.

In international regions of Netflix, such as the United Kingdom, Australia and Canada, you’ll get every episode at once.

Netflix AU announced on July 17th that season 2 of Dirty John would come out August 14, 2020.

What time will Dirty John season 2 air on Netflix USA?

Netflixers in the United States will likely have a wait for nine months for it to become available on Netflix there meaning you’ll want to watch it live to catch it as it’s ready.

The US released a 2021 release guide that we provided, and it turned out to be accurate. The May 2021 Netflix line-up includes Dirty John Season 2 and all subsequent episodes, which will be available on Netflix US starting May 31, 2021.
