Christopher Robin, the live-action Disney film that brought Winnie the Pooh back to the big screen in 2018, was Christopher Robin. Here’s when Christopher Robin will be coming to Netflix in both the United States and Canada.

Winnie the Pooh, the beloved Disney character from the 1920s is still a favorite. He first appeared in Winnie-the-pooh's 1926 book.

Along with his pals Piglet, Tigger and Eeyore as Owl, Kanga. Roo. Ewan McGregor plays the role of a father who spends too many hours at work and neglects his family. He realizes that his family needs him to be more present after Pooh visits again. This movie is completely live-action, unlike previous Winnie the Pooh films.

A while back, we asked whether Netflix had some of the most well-known Winnie the Pooh films. Unfortunately the answer was no.

Now let’s take a look at whether and when Christopher Robin will come to Netflix.

Christopher Robin US Release Date

Thankfully, any Disney title that’s released in cinemas between 2016 and the beginning of 2019 will be coming to Netflix. This deal, which has now ended, saw many big titles arrive and will continue with Ralph Breaks The Internet and Mary Poppins.

The average time it takes for Disney films to be available on Netflix is between 8 and 9 months. This means that they will likely release their movies sometime in March or May 2019.

We’ll know of the release date shortly before it’s due to release on Netflix.

Christopher Robin Netflix Canada Release Date

Unlike the United States, Canada’s arrangement with Disney is still believed to be the same going forward. This means that Christopher Robin will likely drop in Canada around the same time the US.

Netflix UK: What do you think?

Sadly, Sky in the United Kingdom gets Disney movies first and that’s likely to continue long in the future. After Sky finishes with its license, Disney movies are available on Netflix. That means we’re expecting the movie to arrive sometime at the end of 2020 or even into 2021.

A quick reminder about Goodbye Christopher Robin.

Last year, Goodbye Christopher Robin, a biographical film, was released. It told Winnie's story through Christopher Robin's eyes. This movie didn’t come to Netflix but the main reason for that is that it wasn’t published by Disney.
