When will Season 5 of ‘Schitt’s Creek’ be on Netflix?

Schitt’s Creek returned to CBC for its fifth season in early 2019 and is heading to Netflix around the world in the next several months. Because the show airs first in Canada, many won’t be familiar with its TV schedule. As a result, we’re here to give you the complete lowdown on when season 5 of Schitt’s Creek will be on Netflix.

As you all probably know by now, Schitt’s Creek is one of the hottest comedies right now. The show airs on CBC Canada and Netflix for all Netflixers. It stars Eugene Levy (seen in American Pie), Catherine O’Hara, Dan Levvy and Annie Murphy. Together, they play a family who’s losing everything financially.

In Canada, the fifth season began airing in January 2019, with the finale in Canada dropping on April 9. That then begins the clock for when it’ll start dropping on Netflix.

Schitt’s Creek Season 5 Netflix US Release Date

The United States has been slow to pick up new seasons as of now. That’s despite getting the new season of CBC’s other hit comedy, Kim’s Convenience the day after it finished airing.

Season 4 premiered on Netflix on October 2018, and Netflix announced that the series will continue on September 2019.

Netflix has many of the most popular CBC programs, which is why they are well worth your time.

Schitt’s Creek Season 5 Netflix UK and Australia Release Date

Netflix released several seasons simultaneously in Australia and the United Kingdom over the last few years.

If the series airs in January, and then lasts until April (assuming that it does), Netflix should be able to stream the latest season on May 1.

That’s now been confirmed thanks to the lineup schedules announced. The show’s official Twitter accounts also confirmed the release date in Australia. The official Netflix UK twitter account confirmed that season 5 of Schitt’s Creek is due to release on May 10th, 2019.

Other Netflix regions such as South Africa and Ireland will also be receiving the new season but we don’t have definite dates.
