When will Season 9 & 10 of ‘Hawaii Five-0’ be on Netflix?

Hawaii Five-0 has entered its tenth season of CBS's 2019 series, but it was canceled earlier this year. All current seasons were removed from Netflix. Is Hawaii Five-0 coming back to Netflix? Could its ninth or tenth seasons be added to the streaming service?

Since 2010, the CBS classic series' reboot has been available on TV and is not slowing down. The series didn’t initially appear on Netflix. The older seasons weren't added to Netflix until 2015, and the newer seasons have been added since then.

The tenth season of Hawaii Five-0 began on September 27, and is expected to conclude in May 2020.

It was once a common practice for Netflix to pick up the next season either in July or June after the finale. However, in 2019 the series not only didn’t get season 9 added, but the entire series also left Netflix in the US.

Is Hawaii Five-0 coming back to Netflix?

Most people will be asking the question of whether Hawaii Five-0 will return to Netflix. The answer is no.

First, CBS will focus all its resources on making CBS All Access a profitable streaming service. Therefore, apart from strategic deals, it’s putting all of its new content and withdrawing all of its older content from streaming platforms.

If CBS All Access was to close, however, don’t expect Netflix to carry it again. It’s rare Netflix picks up older shows and especially since Hawaii Five-0’s popularity will have died down by that point.

Blue Bloods is another CBS show that will soon be going away from Netflix. Its removal date for November 2019 has been set.

Are Hawaii Five-0 and other Netflix Regions available for streaming?

Only a handful of Asian countries are represented on the US show, though Unogs claims that these areas also had the title taken away in 2019.

In June 2019 and July 2019, countries like South Korea, Thailand and Singapore lost their entire series.

In recent years, licenses have been lost in other regions like South Africa and most Latin American countries.
